About This Event

A mindful arts based creative workshop for the start of autumn, based outdoors and in the lovely Tibetan Kitchen bus. The Creative Woods offers this lovely wellbeing workshop to celebrate the start of Autumn at Chorlton Waterpark. The autumn equinox, marking the end of summer when the days and nights are the same length, is within days. This is part of a series of workshops responding to the changes in nature through the seasons. Through mindful arts based activities we will have a space to just be, and deepen our connection with Nature in new ways. These activities will include exploring the light and colour at this time of year, and beautiful seed heads, using watercolour pencils. We will be in the cozy bus with time outdoors weather permitting. In the break we will be treated to a Tibetan Kitchen hot drink and veg momo (dumpling) or cupcake. All materials provided. Open to all those aged 16+, no art experience necessary. TIckets £25 (includes Eventbrite fee). There are also 2 concessionary places for £15 (includes Eventbrite fee). Reservation essential. Please note the workshop space in the bus is upstairs (the stairs are steepish, there is a banister on either side). The bus is heated if needed. There are toilets nearby.
