Learn the theory behind how and why we manage woodlands and how to identify woodland species with City of Trees.

This is session 1 of 3 of our Woodland Green Skills Series - attend all 3 to learn the theory and practical skills behind managing woodlands.

This session is for young people aged 16-25, looking to learn new skills, gain experience in the environment sector or just to try something new! If you have any questions or would like any more information, contact Hannah at hannah@cityoftrees.org.uk.

About the site

Hatchett's Wood is a public wood. The area where we will be working has uneven ground, thick vegetation, and informal paths through the woodland. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
