Our guest speakers for this event:

Rob Jones - CPR & Resilience Trainer & Survivor

The Idiopath

In June 2024, Rob Jones’s heart suddenly stopped.

There was no warning, no time to prepare and no expectation that this could happen to him. Rob experienced an idiopathic sudden cardiac arrest and required approximately 18 minutes of CPR before he was resuscitated.

Today, Rob is a survivor, speaker and CPR advocate, and through The Idiopath, he uses his lived experience to help others understand what happens when every second really does count.

Every Second Counts is an evidence-based keynote designed for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month in October. Rather than being a presentation solely about Rob’s story, it uses that experience as a powerful starting point to explore the reality of sudden cardiac arrest and, most importantly, what ordinary people can do when it happens.

Elizabeth McLafferty - Little Dreambug Charity

From a worried parent to a fundraising mission — turning our experience of exceptional care at King’s Mill Hospital into giving back to the children on Ward 25

Our aim is to create a safe, friendly environment where delegates can build connections with confidence. Many of our attendees tell us they're surprised by how relaxed and enjoyable the experience feels.

Free to attend and all local businesses are welcome (no area restrictions). Limited spaces and booking essential.
