Local tech meet-up for developers, creators & curious minds. Drop in, chat, share ideas & connect. No sales, just real conversations.

Tech Exchange Chesterfield (previously Chesterfield Tech Meetup) is where ideas spark, connections thrive, and innovation gets a local postcode. Whether you’re a developer working on your next side project, a small business exploring new digital tools, or a curious professional dipping your toes into tech, you’ll find your people here.

This isn’t a panel talk or sales pitch. It’s a friendly, practical space for conversation, where local technologists, business owners, and creative minds swap stories, share challenges, and explore opportunities together.

We’ve grown fast since our first coffee at Host on Chatsworth Road, and our format keeps evolving. Expect lively small-group chats, a mix of familiar faces and first-timers, and the occasional surprise guest.

What to expect:

Dynamic conversations. Split into small groups for real exchange, not endless introductions

A tech “clinic” for local companies who need help but aren’t sure where to start

Funding insights from local experts and accelerators

Info on how to start your own meetup in nearby towns

A relaxed pint (optional) and some seriously smart company

It’s not about selling. It’s about connecting, learning, and growing together.

Come along if you're interested in Information Technology, Operational Technology, Security, Data, Digital or Manufacturing Tech.
