Our story started in Africa so let's see the eras that brought us here to where we are now and how much Africa still impacts our lives today

This workshop is the first in a series where we will look at some of the eras in history from an African perspective. We will look for ways of understanding and identifing each one. We will look at when they actually happened. We'll get creative and make reminders of what we've learned that the children can take home to share with the families.

All of this information will be added to a timeline that we will make and populate ongoing.

We operate a tech and parent free zone for children 6-13years cohort. This way the children work together to create and learn autonomously. They bring their knowledge so that EACH1 can TEACH1.

We invite the parents to take part in the prepartion by talking with the children about eras that they are aware of, what its characteristics were and the years that I covers. These dialogues will bring the multigenertional facets of EACH1 TEACH1 into being.

We ask the parents to ensure that children arrive appropriately dressed, being creative can be a messy business. They should also arrive WITHOUT a mobile device and prepared to say goodbye at the door.
