HEALING: Rest, Care + Deep Listening features Ruby Savage and Naomi Evans on 16 October 2026 at 18:00 at People Dem Collective HQ in Cliftonville. The session includes a conversation on healing followed by a Deep Listening session and is free to attend.
A conversation exploring healing, rest + care, followed by a Deep Listening session led by Ruby Savage.
What does healing look like when we make space for rest, care + listening? After a decade of DJing on dance floors around the world, Ruby Savage is expanding her craft to Deep Listening Sessions, joining a growing movement in music for the sonically curious.
As part of People Dem Collective’s HEALING week, Ruby Savage joins Naomi Evans of Everyday Racism for an intimate conversation exploring healing, personally, collectively and within our communities.
Drawing on Ruby’s work around rest, artist development + Deep Listening, alongside Naomi’s own journey of exploring healing and what it means to her, they’ll open up questions around rest, care, listening and how we sustain ourselves while doing the work.
Following the conversation, Ruby will lead us into a Deep Listening session, creating space to slow down and experience some of these ideas through sound.
Come for conversation, listening + space to simply be.
Ruby’s approach is intuitive and reflective, blending jazz, soul, dub, spirituals, experimental, and instrumental sounds. Each session offers a chance to unwind, reach a meditative state, and connect deeply to a personally curated sound journey.
Grounded in the belief that we need spaces for stillness and sonic healing as much as for dancing and release, Ruby offers these sessions as a way to reconnect, to yourself, to others, and to the music.
