Join us for breakfast and networking at the Captain Cook Community's monthly meeting at Whinstone View Bistro, Great Ayton.

The Captain Cook Community is the Builders of Business group for South Middlesbrough, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Guisborough. It's named after the area's most famous son, who grew up just down the road. We bring together local owners and decision-makers who want to build real relationships, share opportunities and help each other grow. We have a conflict of interest rule for members, so nobody is competing with you for work at the table.

What to expect

The meeting runs for about an hour. We start with breakfast, refreshments and introductions, so everyone gets a chance to share who they are and what they do. Next, a guest speaker gives a short talk followed by a Q&A, with practical ideas you can take back to your business. After a quick coffee break, we move to an open round-table conversation, where you can ask questions, share challenges and get to know the people in the room. We finish with updates on upcoming events, new groups and campaigns.

Who should come?

Business owners, self-employed people and decision-makers from any industry across the Captain Cook area. Whether you've been trading for twenty years or twenty days, you'll be made welcome.

Coming as a guest

You don't need to be a member to attend. Guests are welcome up to three times a year, so you can get a real feel for the group before deciding whether to join.
