Come and enjoy a fun-filled day of walking and talking with Assist & The Girls' Network in Redcar and Cleveland! This event is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, get some exercise, and get some fresh air.
Whether you're a seasoned walker or just looking to meet new people, this event is perfect for everyone. So grab your walking shoes and join us at Marske By The Sea for a memorable Morning out!
Join us for the next #WalkAndTalk ! What's not to like... we explore and experience some of our perfect parts of our region as we visit woodlands, rivers, parkland and the coast.
Do join us at all five boroughs in our region, or just the one near you - Let's get NETWALKING.
We, Ann and Sarah (AWN) will be waiting for you at....(add what3words location) and image of meeting point once confirmed
Do consider the weather on the day... will we need to be wrapped up, it is October on the North East Coast afterall!
October weather is so unpredictable, and often chilly by the coast, give your footwear some thought too - it can be wet as we walk on the beach.
We will be walking mostly on flat.
Let’s enjoy the sea air, the beautiful coastal views and a walk along our local coastline. With plenty of time to Network along the walk and even chance for a cuppa afterwards at The Stray Cafe
You may choose to hang around a little after the walk, many of us like to get to know each other a little more and share more chat over a pot of tea, coffee and sometimes a bite to eat.
No pressure, some of us have family commitments and weekend things to be getting on with, the stay back is entirely optional with all most welcome.
This is a slow pace hour, yes you’ll get some steps in, you will make new contacts in an informal friendly way, you’ll have the chance to talk business and as women we always add that element of personal.
The purpose of our netwalks is to mix social, wellbeing and business in a pleasant weekend hour in the great outdoors.
Come along, to find out more about what both Assist Women's Network and The Girls' Network do to help empower the young girls and women of the Tees Valley.

If networking and the thought of it is something you struggle with, perhaps we can help with our team of Assist Friends. Reach out to us and tell us you want to know more and we may have the option of someone who could meet you when you arrive to make the networking experience a little easier for you.
To encourage well attended sessions we are implementing a £5.00 booking fee. This fee will be credited back to you on the day and used towards refreshments after our walk. However, please note that if you are unable to attend, the £5.00 booking fee will be non-refundable.
