Joins us for a free women's only 5km run or walk along Seaton Carew promenade to campaign to make running safer for women once the clocks go back and the nights get shorter. There will be a tail walker at the event, so no one will be left behind, don't worry about your pace, you can run it all, run / walk it or walk it all.

Nearly three-quarters (72%) of women in the UK change their outdoor activity routines during winter. This impacts women’s health and wellbeing and reinforces the stubborn gender activity gap which sees half a million fewer active women than men.

Let's Lift the Curfew challenges this reality to ensure no woman has to change where, when or how she gets active because of safety concerns.

Let's make the run as colourful as possible! Glow sticks and light up scrunchies will be provided! The more colourful and lit up the better!

Why not join us after the run / walk at No5 pizza in Seaton Carew for some pizza and conversation around running and female safety! The menu is extensive with something for everyone, and some great deals.
