A quarterly, sector-led forum connecting Stockton-on-Tees frontline practitioners to share safeguarding insights with local partners.

The Stockton-on-Tees VCS Safeguarding Forum is an in-person, quarterly forum for professionals and community members working to make local communities safer.

About the forum

Hosted by Corner House Youth Project, this sector-led forum gives frontline colleagues space to share what they see and hear in their communities, identify emerging safeguarding risks and concerns, connect with fellow practitioners, and turn collective knowledge into meaningful safeguarding intelligence. Insights gathered will be formally shared with local safeguarding partners to help inform risk assessment and the wider safeguarding response.

You know your communities, recognise emerging risks and understand why some people feel disconnected from services. Youth and community practitioners can identify safeguarding concerns before they become visible in education, health or criminal justice systems. This forum aims to help ensure your voices influence the local safeguarding response.

Who should attend?

Youth workers, volunteers, community groups, sports coaches, parent support advisers, designated safeguarding officers, neighbourhood groups, litter-picking groups, and anyone working to make communities safer.
