The Wellbeing Co-ordinator Training workshop will be held on Wednesday 4 November 2026, from 9am to 4pm, in Room 43 at the STRIVE Academic Centre, James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. This free, full-day session is aimed at those wishing to build the skills needed to support mental health and wellbeing within their teams or organisations. Facilitated by a range of experienced trainers, the programme covers practical approaches to co-ordinating wellbeing initiatives and addressing everyday workplace challenges. The event is open to anyone interested in taking on a wellbeing co-ordinator role, and no prior experience is necessary.
This workshop will take place on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, 9am-4pm, in Room 43, STRIVE Academic Centre, James Cook University Hospital.
This full-day workshop offers participants an opportunity to learn and practice Psychological First Aid skills, learn about signposting and well-being resources, meet other Well-being Coordinators and complete the initial Well-being Coordinator training.
On completion of this workshop participants will:
Have learnt, practiced and reflected on using Psychological First Aid skills.
Have learnt about signposting and well-being resources.
Have received further information and resources to be competent and confident in their Well-being Coordinator role.
Have met and interacted with other Well-being Coordinators
Please note, if you are a non-medical registrant who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
