Sadly, he died aged just 26 while on leave staying with family in Buckingham in November that year. The casualties from the Second World War include Gunner George Jones who was serving with a Royal Artillery unit involved with the air defence of London. The son of Jack and Annie Jones of Buckingham, he was aged 31 when he died in March 1943.
The tour lasts approx.60 mins and covers about 400 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground.
