Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Cranfield (St. Peter & St. Paul) Churchyard, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.
Our tours are free to the public, but if you would like to support us then please consider donating to our charity The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF).

MEETING POINT is at the front entrance to the church, off Court Road.
The St. Peter and St. Paul Churchyard in the Bedfordshire village of Cranfield is the final resting place of four WW1 and eleven WW2 casualties commemorated by the CWGC. A number of the WW2 graves are linked to the former RAF Cranfield Air Station, including pilots under training at the No.14 Service Flying Training School which operated from the airfield until 1941.
The tour lasts approx. 60 mins and covers about 400 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground.
There is ample on-street parking within a short walking distance. There are no facilites or toilets on site. Please bring water if required.
Wheelchair users and pushchairs are welcome but will need to stay on the main paths within the cemetery.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
