MK Tech Week: Investor Ready will take place on 13 October 2026 at the YMCA Conferencing Facilities in Milton Keynes. This event will explore the distinction between being investible and being investor-ready, featuring insights from investors and founders.
What's the difference between being investible and being investor-ready? Hear directly from investors and founders who've been through it.
What do we mean by investible, and what's the difference between investible and investor-ready?
Many businesses currently seeking equity investment don't fully understand the fundraising process and what an investor is looking for.
They start to seek equity investment far too early, before they have their scaling, marketing and growth strategies in place, or have done the real work on customer want vs need and whether it's something customers will pay for.
Founders often don't know what an investor wants to see, or what has to be in place for them to be investor-ready.
Our panel members have experience in investing or raising funds. They'll share what investors are looking for, what their own investors expected them to have in place, and the potential pitfalls to avoid, so you can demonstrate you are investor-ready.
There'll be time for your questions at the end.
