About This Event

Clinical Skills at RHM will take place on 28 October 2026 at Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar. This wellness event is part of a weekly teaching programme for NCHD clinical skills. Attendance is free.

Join our weekly NCHD Clinical Skills Teaching Programme at Regional Hospital Mullingar

Commenceing on July 22nd Designed to enhance confidence and competence in essential clinical procedures through practical, hands-on training.

When: Every Wednesday

Times: 14:00–15:00 and 15:00–16:00

Location: Innovation Hub (Old Rehabilitation Building)

Programme:

July & August: Blood Cultures

September: Male Catheterisation

October: Venepuncture & Cannulation

November: Airway Management & Respiratory Support (Airway assessment, CPAP, BiPAP, NIPPY, Intubation & Mechanical Ventilation)

These interactive sessions are open to all NCHDs and provide a supportive learning environment to develop practical skills, improve clinical decision-making, and promote safe, high-quality patient care.

Lunch will be provided for all participants.
