This year, Lily Ramirez-Foran and her award winning kitchen team from Picado Mexican are coming to Samhain Festival to host a Mexican pop up at the Vanilla Pod- they are beyond excited to be back at Samhain, this time to cook up a Mexican storm!

Join us on Friday 6th of November for an evening of delicious Mexican food made with amazing Boyne Valley ingredients. Experience the traditional flavours of Mexico in a family style menu designed just for the festival, which will include a welcome drink and snack, some tacos and dessert.

Picado Mexican is Ireland’s leading Mexican grocer and award winning cookery school based in Dublin and lead by Chef and Author Lily Ramirez-Foran. The Picado Mexican project was awarded Sello M Certification this year, a prestigious certification awarded by the Mexican Academy of Gastronomy and the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs to food business abroad who uphold and promote Mexico’s authentic gastronomy and heritage; only 65 establishments in the world were awarded this certification in 2026, guaranteeing that the food served at Picado meets standards of authenticity, quality and traditional ingredients and techniques, ensuring the preservation of Mexican gastronomy abroad.
