In this workshop designed for beginners, you will be led by artist Bethany Stead to make your own idols, talismans and votives using air-dry clay. Under Bethany’s guidance, you will learn foundational building and decoration techniques to make small objects and sculptures inspired by historical artefacts, that can be used to inspire, guide or protect you.

Please contact hello@creativeworkshopsnecic.com if you have any questions or access requirements.

This workshop is delivered by Creative Workshops NE CIC, a not-for-profit company focusing on wellbeing outcomes through art. We serve communities that often feel excluded and would benefit from art practice, such as queer, neurodiverse and low-income groups.
