We are delighted to invite you to Crisis' Housing Supply Briefing and Partner Engagement Event at Crisis Skylight Newcastle on Wednesday 7 October, 1pm.
As part of our mission to end homelessness, Crisis is taking the next step in our journey by becoming a housing provider and landlord in the North East. From 2026 onwards, and for the first time in our nearly 60-year history, we will begin the journey to becoming a not-for-profit landlord, providing safe, affordable and settled homes for people facing some of the greatest barriers to securing housing.
Our ambition is to purchase 100 homes over the next three years, combining quality housing with flexible, person-centred support. Through this work, we aim not only to provide homes, but also to generate learning and evidence that can help influence wider systems change and contribute to ending homelessness for good.
In response to the growing housing and homelessness challenges facing our communities, we have sought to be part of the solution, working alongside local authorities, housing associations, landlords, investors and other organisations committed to creating lasting change. We know that achieving our ambition will require collaboration, innovation and strong partnerships across sectors.
This event is an opportunity to hear more about our plans, including the first phase of delivering homes in Newcastle and London, and to explore how we can work together to maximise our collective impact. We are keen to engage with partners from the housing, homelessness, voluntary and public sectors to discuss opportunities for collaboration and share insights that will help shape this exciting new chapter for Crisis.
We highly value the expertise, experience and insight of our partners and would welcome your involvement as we develop and grow this work.
Reserve your place today and be part of the conversation about how we can work together to increase housing supply and help end homelessness.
