The Draw like Beatrix Potter - Art Workshop at St Oswald's Hospice on 2026-09-13 will guide attendees through making artwork inspired by nature throughout Beatrix Potter’s illustrations, led by art teacher Julie Flemi.
Explore Beatrix Potter’s enchanting world and make your own artwork inspired by nature throughout her illustrations.
Guided by art teacher Julie Fleming, one of our Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne artists and creator of Midsummer on Northumberland Street, you'll explore a range of images and objects inspired by Beatrix Potter's work before creating your own masterpiece.
All paints, brushes and art materials are provided, so all you need to bring is your imagination!
Located in the same venue as Trail HQ (the space by St Oswald's Hospice), you'll also have the opportunity to:
Shop official trail merchandise
Meet both little and large trail sculptures
Enjoy refreshments from our pop-up cafe
Recommended ages: 7+
Cost: £15 per person (plus booking fee) - with a portion of proceeds supporting St Oswald's Hospice.
Please note: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Parents and guardians who do not wish to take part do not need to purchase a ticket for themselves.
Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Parking is available on site, but spaces are limited. Additional parking can be found nearby at The Cycle Hub. Alternatively, the venue is approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk from both Byker and Manors Metro stations.
