It’s time to celebrate our authentic, neurodivergent selves!! Whatever you are interested in is what I am interested in!

How many times in your neurodivergent life have you been shut down, rejected or laughed at for expressing your interests, hobbies and ideas? For me, this is pretty much a daily occurrence.

Society tries to quiet us. If we hyperfixate on a certain topic, we’re labelled as ‘intense’ and ‘obsessive’. If we show our excitement, we’re labelled as ‘too much’. If we answer a question with a detailed answer, we’re labelled as ‘egotistical’.

But in truth, we are none of those things. Neurodivergent brains have unique strengths that neurotypical brains don’t.

Do you have a special interest that you are desperate to brain-dump about? Or a hobby that you wish you could teach someone else? Well in this community, that is welcomed and highly encouraged. This is a safe space to express and celebrate your authentic self.

My hyperfixation is Zelda Ocarina of Time, so I will be sharing some information about this game and showing people how to play it on my Nintendo DS. Maybe you have a hobby you’d like to share, or maybe you’d prefer to yap about a TV show - whatever you are interested in, I am interested in :)

I can’t wait to learn from you! 🌻💚
