**Head to Head: Philosophy in Conversation** **Two thinkers. Two perspectives. The possibility of something new.** **Join the Newcastle Philosophy Society for Head to Head, a lively and thought-provoking weekly philosophical encounter at Earthlings Café.** **Unlike a conventional debate, where participants seek to defend their positions or win an argument, Head to Head offers something different.** **Two people with contrasting ideas come together, not simply to challenge one another, but to explore what might emerge through genuine philosophical engagement.** **Can the meeting of different perspectives give birth to ideas neither person could have reached alone?** **Rather than reinforcing fixed positions or competing personalities, we aim to create a space where thinking becomes more open, exploratory and creative.** **The audience is invited to share in this unfolding philosophical enquiry, where unexpected insights and fresh possibilities may emerge.** **When: Every Friday at 1:00 pm** **Where: Earthlings Café, Newcastle upon Tyne** **Organised by: Newcastle Philosophy Society** **Come along, listen, question and discover where philosophy can take us when the aim is not to win, but to think together.** **All welcome. No previous knowledge of philosophy required.**
