Learn how to bring your home to life with our new season Scandi style collection

On 20th October 2026 we are celebrating 50 years since John Lewis Newcastle opened its doors in Eldon Square.

As part of the celebration, you're invited to join our Home Design Stylists for a deep dive into all things new season Scandi.

From the sympathetic use of natural materials, layering of textures and a clear focus on simplicity, our scandi style is guided by the principles of Scandinavian design. This beloved contemporary style is driven by functionality, simplicity and connection to nature.

During this event, our team will showcase our new season AW26 Scandi collection, show you how to create a warm and comfortable space with thoughtful product layering and the use of natural materials.

After the event, our partners will be on-hand to answer any questions, offer advice or support you in finding your next statement piece.

Whether you're coming by yourself or with a group, we look forward to welcoming you to our event.

Tickets are £5 and can be redeemed against any Home purchases on the day. You'll be welcomed by our host with a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival (Non alcoholic alternatives will be available).

Joining an in-store event

When you arrive at the store please make your way to The Space on Floor 2, which is located through the double doors in the corner of the Floor Coverings Department. Please bring your ticket with you, either printed or on your phone, and your My John Lewis card or app for ticket redemption.

All of our events are exclusive to My John Lewis members. As a member you are also welcome to book additional tickets for friends and family to attend with you. If you're not a member, it's easy to join.
