for Epilespy Nurses, Obstetrcians, Neurologists, Midwives, Safeguarding Professionals, Obstetric Physicians and other interested Healt Professionals.
You can attend all day for both sessions or attend AM or PM session only, please indicate when booking what sessions you are attending.
Morning Session
Focus on Epilepsy Focus on Epilepsy will examine the clinical, social, and professional complexities of epilepsy care, covering seizure diagnosis, personalised approaches to improving outcomes, and the value of multidisciplinary collaboration. The session will conclude with a panel discussion, offering delegates the opportunity to share insights and ask questions.
Neurology case presentations: shared learning The second morning session will provide practical insights through a series of real-world case presentations, covering headache, migraine and red flag headache presentations. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore key learning points, discuss diagnostic challenges and share experiences during a concluding panel discussion before breaking for lunch. Lunch is not provided.
Afternoon Session
Working with community to improve obstetric medical outcomes. Exploring key aspects of maternal health across the pregnancy journey, including preconception care, early pregnancy complications, postnatal contraception and the long-term health implications of obstetric medical diagnoses. The session concludes with a panel discussion, with guidance informed by NICE and NHS England priorities for primary and community care
