Join us in Newcastle for OTAC, where occupational therapy meets innovative adaptation techniques!

OTAC Newcastle is a focused, professional event designed for Occupational Therapists, Technical Officers, and Architects working across housing, adaptations, and inclusive design. In 2026, the event centres on the theme of Leisure, exploring how thoughtful design and collaborative practice can better support meaningful activity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

The event brings together practitioners from across the region to share knowledge, explore best practice, and discuss the real-world challenges of delivering effective, person-centred solutions. Attendees will benefit from expert-led discussions on enabling access to leisure within the home and community, adapting spaces to support hobbies and social participation, and designing environments that promote independence and inclusion.

OTAC Newcastle provides a valuable forum to exchange ideas, learn from peers, and gain insight into current standards, regulations, and funding considerations that influence adaptation and design decisions. Whether you work in local authority services, housing associations, private practice, or consultancy, the event offers practical takeaways that can be applied directly to everyday work.

Attendance is completely free, making it an excellent opportunity for professional development and networking. Booking your free ticket secures your place at an established event that champions collaboration and innovation.
