Discover the wildflowers of our region and the Collinson Albums, at the City Library, Celebrate Green Libraries Week.
Join archivist Kris McKie and author-naturalist James Common from the Natural History Society of Northumbria to hear about the wildflowers of Northumberland and Durham 200 years ago compared to today and see the historic watercolours of the Collinson collection – one of the treasures of the Newcastle Collection. This event is part of the Lost Flowers project delivered by Newcastle Libraries with creative ageing charity Equal Arts. The Lost Flowers exhibition will continue in the atrium at Newcastle City Library through to 31 October.
