Join artists Kate Sweeney and Lindsay Duncanson for a creative session on the theme of wildflowers.No previous experience necessary to enjoy this inclusive, dementia-friendly session.This workshop is part of the Lost Flowers project and Exhibition, based on an exploration of the Collinson watercolours - a collection of 19th-century illustrations of wildflowers from across the North East. The Lost Flowers exhibition will continue in the atrium at Newcastle City Library through to 31 October.
To find out more about the Collinson collection and the flowers of our region, why not make a day of it and come along to the free talk by Kris McKie and James Common at 11am, also in the Bewick Hall, on the same day (see Eventbrite for booking details for the talk).
