About This Event

Beginner-friendly yoga with mindful movement, breathwork and meditation at Earthlings in Newcastle. Join Gloria for a welcoming, beginner-friendly yoga class at Earthlings – The Healing Café. Each session combines meditation, breathwork and yoga postures (asanas). Gloria offers guidance to help you move comfortably and safely, with time to connect with your body and step away from the rush of everyday life. Her teaching draws on her studies of yoga philosophy, neuroscience and somatic movement. Whether you’re trying yoga for the first time or returning to your practice, you’re welcome to come as you are. Extra mats and props are available at the venue if you need them. MEET GLORIA Originally from Brazil, Gloria has called the UK home for the past 15 years and has taught yoga locally for six years. She holds a degree in Psychology from Brazil and is a certified Portuguese–English Public Sector Interpreter and Translator. Gloria is passionate about exploring how yoga philosophy can be applied to modern life. She has also been training in trauma-sensitive approaches, which she brings into her thoughtful, supportive teaching. Outside the studio, she enjoys nature, free movement and connecting with people.
