NEU Educators for Equality - Part 2 of 2

Join us in person for an engaging event aimed at bringing educators together to promote equality in the classroom, school culture and NEU district. Whether you’re passionate about inclusive education, equality in the workplace, or looking to connect with like-minded peers, this is the place to be! Let’s share ideas, experiences, and create positive change!

Part 1 will focus on:

Information sharing - what you can get involved in, how you can get involved, and what you can get out of it;

What opportunities are available to you as a member of the NEU - conferences, international travel, training events, campaigning, etc.;

How to become an officer, rep and how to get to speak at national conference;

Sharing ideas on how we can work together to promote equalities in your workplace and NEU districts.

Part 1 will be folllowed up with an agreed plan moving forward.

Part 2 will focus on:

Intersectionality in the NEU;

Reviewing what we have done since July;

Moving forward;

Planning the next event - learning how to plan an event and what resources and support are available;

Empowerment to make changes and developing our network.

While there will be no personal cost to you (not including getting there and back) your district will be charged £30 per attendee. Please check with your district secretary before signing up.
