Follow her instructions, explore Tredegar House and take on a series of silly, magical and sometimes surprising challenges to uncover the story of the Stranger Folk and help decide their fate.

You'll encounter characters and creatures inspired by folklore, with Tredegar House providing the perfect setting for your adventure. Keep your wits about you, as you never quite know what might be hiding around the next corner.

Designed for curious children aged 7+ and imaginative grown-ups, Stranger Folk is a chance to see Tredegar House differently, bringing together technology, storytelling and Welsh folklore in one immersive adventure.

The app is free to download before you visit or when you arrive at Tredegar House. You'll need a magic password to begin your adventure, which you can collect from the Welcome Point when you arrive.

There’s no set route to follow, so you can explore at your own pace and let the story lead you. Will you help the Crone uncover the truth about the Stranger Folk - and decide what becomes of them?
