This is free to attend and open to all ages

Come and join us so we can explore your local Tiny Forest here at Ringwood Hill that was planted in partnership with Hedyn Homes back in March! Enjoy our fun family-friendly activities, connect with nature, share food and meet other members of the community. You may even want to try out one of our fun science experiments!

GoodGym and Tiny Forest volunteers Paul Salman, his dog Gus, and Daniel Merlmelstein, are taking to the road in their campervan on a Tiny Tour this August, visiting 4 Tiny Forests from Oxford to South Wales! Travelling almost 350 miles over 5 days, Paul, Daniel, and Gus are excited to meet local community members and help them connect with nature through their Tiny Forests along with Earthwatch Team Members.

Come join him and the wonderfully friendly and fluffy Gus for a mindful weeding session followed by some hands on research where you will learn about:

Wildlife in the forest including butterflies, bees, and bugs!

How trees can capture and store carbon from the air we breathe

The forest's ability to store water

The cooling benefits of the trees

So come along and connect with nature whilst also taking part in Citizen Science!
