Everyone agreed that a social event in August would be better. If the weather is good a beach BBQ or visit the Porthtowan Blue Bar.

The feedback at the last event was that it would be nice to have a more social kind of event in August. So the suggestion is having a beach BBQ if the weather is good, or just going to a bar if it's not so nice. The Blue Bar Porthtowan gives us the option of either so I've picked there as it's fairly central and accessible from the A30.

We will make a weather call on Monday before. I have a collection of BBQs that will cater for most party sizes plus a separate Veggie one. If people just bring something to chuck on the grill then that makes it easy to organise.

If the weather is a bit gloomy we can revert to the bar which tends to be marginally less busy when it's not a beach day.
