ABOUT ME
I’m Louise Nu-Mai Harrison, a Breastfeeding Counsellor and founder of The Breastfeeding Support Consultancy.
I have over 10 years’ experience supporting mothers and families with breastfeeding, including experience within NHS services, community settings, labour wards, postnatal wards, neonatal and paediatric environments, as well as antenatal and postnatal support.
I’ve had the privilege of designing and delivering NHS antenatal breastfeeding education sessions, alongside supporting breastfeeding families through community-based and voluntary work.
As a mum of three, I also know breastfeeding from a personal perspective, having breastfed my own children into toddlerhood and beyond. I understand that every breastfeeding journey is different, and that sometimes a little reassurance, understanding and the right support can make all the difference.
I bring together my professional knowledge and lived experience to offer warm, nurturing and individualised support, with practical, evidence-informed guidance to help you feel more prepared, less overwhelmed and gently reassured as you get ready to welcome your baby.
