Growing cult favourites on the thriving UK folk circuit who set their stall on re-energising timeless, much-journeyed songs for an ever-growing new community of enthusiasts, Goblin Band are fresh from a nationwide Broadside Hacks label tour last autumn, a trip to New Orleans for Folk Alliance festival in January. Brought together by a shared desire to recover the radical and progressive energy at the core of traditional music, the band are heavily inspired by the folk pastimes of Britain and abroad. Their seasonal headlines for winter solstice and May Day are now regular, sold-out events with their performance at EartH earlier this year their grandest occasion to date.
