Hosted by Rob Alston of Silfield Ltd, join Norfolk FWAG for a farm walk and a series of talks exploring how farmers and developers can work together to deliver environmental solutions for development projects.

This event will showcase how farmers can play a key role in delivering environmental solutions for development projects, while creating new income opportunities for farm businesses. Through a combination of presentations and a guided farm walk, attendees will learn more about Skylark Mitigation, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Nutrient Neutrality, Ecology and Species Surveys and more.

Using real examples from across Silfield Ltd, the event will demonstrate how Norfolk FWAG works with its network of farmers, landowners and developers to deliver practical environmental soultions on the ground.

Our Host - Silfield Ltd

Silfield Ltd is home to Norfolk FWAG's pilot Skylark Mitigation project. Working in partnership with Norfolk FWAG, Rob Alston has implemented habitat management designed to support Skylark populations while providing mitigation for development. Rob is also developing a Biodiversity Net Gain scheme on the farm and has undertaken a range of river management improvements, making the farm an ideal location to explore the opportunities available through Developer Services.
