We'll be practising our English or Japanese at The Refectory Bakery and Café by the Norwich Cathedral, from 2pm-3.30pm. To make sure this is a true exchange of languages, we have only one small rule that we kindly ask be followed; for the first 45 minutes we will strictly be speaking English (as most of our attendees are likely native English speakers, this will allow us to get to know each other in a fairly relaxed way), and then for the last 45 minutes we will be speaking only Japanese. Please do not worry if you are only a beginner or if you feel your Japanese is not up to par, you can consider it listening practice and can of course still speak a little English to support a conversation in Japanese if it helps. To support the café, please consider purchasing a drink or cake. We will be on the table with the Japanese textbooks.
