Understanding Substance Use in Children and Young People
Join us for a training session led by Luke Adcock, Service Manager at The Matthew Project, and Dan Fisher, Lead Nurse. The Matthew Project supports young people affected by substance use across Norfolk.
This training is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to better understand substance use among children and young people.
In this session, you will:
Learn about different types of substances
Understand the risks posed by specific substances, including cannabis, alcohol, ketamine, MDMA, and illicit vaping
Develop knowledge of local trends affecting children and young people
Identify the different stages of drug use
This session is ideal for professionals working with young people who want to deepen their understanding of substances and strengthen their practice.
Location: The Matthew Project, 70-80 Oak Street, Norwich NR3 3AQ
Parking is not available for this training. At The Matthew Project, spaces are prioritised for service users attending appointments and those with accessibility needs. Please make alternative parking arrangements. The nearest car park is St Andrews.
