Explore how to use AI to understand job adverts, organise your experience and prepare applications. Use of Transform's My Next Step app.

Could AI make some parts of your job search easier?

AI tools can help you think through a job advert or organise your existing experience. But they can also produce inaccurate or overconfident answers, so it matters how we use them.

In this one-hour practical introduction, we will explore how to use AI as a support tool without letting it invent qualifications, write misleading applications or make decisions for you.

What we will explore

Using AI to understand job adverts and identify key requirements.

Organising your own experience into relevant skills and evidence.

Developing ideas for CVs, applications and interview practice.

Checking and improving AI-generated suggestions before using them.

Keeping control of your personal information and what is actually submitted.

You do not need prior AI experience. This workshop is part of the Steps Towards Work core training series and follows the CV & Application Masterclass on the same day.
