Love The Traitors? Lies, logic & mystery await at Malt Cross. Play Blood on the Clocktower, the ultimate social game. Beginner friendly!
Step into a game of murder, mystery, and deception at the historic Malt Cross. Have you been watching The Traitors and thinking, "I could easily spot the lies"?
Join us at The Malt Cross in Nottingham city centre for an unforgettable evening of Blood on the Clocktower, the world's greatest live social deduction game.
This session features Trouble Brewing, the perfect script specifically designed for absolute beginners. Whether you are coming alone or bringing a team of "good" friends, our live host (The Storyteller) will guide you through every step. No prior gaming experience required!
How the Game Works
One of you is a hidden Demon, executing villagers under the cover of night. The rest of you are innocent Villagers, or potentially an evil Minion, each armed with a unique secret ability to help, or hinder, the village in finding the killer.
Daytime: You’ll mingle, whisper secrets, trade information, and hold a dramatic public vote to execute who you think the demon is.
Nighttime: The Demon strikes, and a player is "murdered".
Death isn't the End: Unlike other murder mystery games where you sit out once you die, in this game, ghosts stay in the circle. You can still talk, debate, and cast one crucial, final vote from beyond the grave.
Why Join Us?
Beginner Friendly: We will explain all the rules before we start. It's easy to learn, impossible to forget.
The Perfect Venue: Set in the beautiful, atmospheric snug area upstairs of the Malt Cross, perfect for a night of secrets and strategy. Great local ales and drinks available throughout the night.
Meet New People: It is a brilliantly social game. Come by yourself and make some friends (or enemies!), or bring a group.
