This November DM Horizons will be running CaveCon One! A new RPG event full of history, adventure and underground antics.

CaveCon One comes to the historical Olde Salutation Inn in Nottingham on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th November 2026, bringing together many great DMs, a wide variety of RPG systems, writers and industry guests for a unique weekend of adventure built around a venue full of history including the ancient sandstone caves beneath it.

Whether you're a lifelong Game Master, a seasoned player, or completely new to tabletop role-playing games, CaveCon will be welcoming, friendly and open to everyone*. With games running throughout the weekend, special guests, guided tours of the historic caves and beyond, and other activities to be announced, there's something for every kind of adventurer.

What to expect

Two full days of tabletop RPGs held at the Sal including sessions in the caves Special guest appearances, events, tours and talks throughout the weekend Planned games including: Dungeons & Dragons Call of Cthulhu Rivers of London Vaesen and more.

Note: This will be an exclusive event with only 24 day tickets available for each day!

Each day ticket will include a two 3-hour RPG sessions (one before lunch and one after), access to two special events one between the sessions and one after the sessions (a guest talk, a tour, a visit or special game) and more. Day ticket holders get the best overall price and the first choice of spots on the specific RPG sessions.

Note: Everyone will get a chance to go explore the caves during the weekend. Either for an RPG session, a special guest activity, as part of a tour or other means.
