Welcome to our non-fiction book club! We meet in our cafe on the second Wednesday every month to talk about the latest and greatest in non-fiction, including titles in nature, history, art, politics, popular-science, biography, gender studies, travel, and the list goes on!

The next book club will take place on Wednesday 9th September.

Our September pick is The Living Mountain by Nan Shepherd. Written during the Second World War, The Living Mountain describes the incredible journeys Shepherd made into the regal Cairngorm Mountains of Scotland in a powerful meditation on the solace and strength to be found in the wilderness.

Whether your already a connoisseur of non-fiction or looking to expand your reading horizons, we’d love to have you. Tickets are free but we recommend booking to secure your place.
