Join us to learn how to weave with a Peg Loom
Discover one of the oldest and most satisfying forms of weaving in this hands-on peg loom workshop with Shelley. Explore colour, texture, and traditional weaving techniques using wool fibres and yarns to create a beautiful seaside-inspired hanging.
Decorate your woven piece with shells, pebbles, driftwood, and other coastal treasures to make a unique keepsake celebrating the seashore.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who enjoys making, experimenting with natural materials, and trying a traditional craft in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Suitable for ages 8+
Older children, teenagers, and young adults are especially welcome.
Please note: An accompanying adult is required to stay for the session.
Spaces are limited to just 6 participants per session as there are only 6 peg looms available. Early booking is recommended.
Participants are welcome to bring along their own favourite seaside finds to include in their weaving, but all materials will be provided if you prefer to use those supplied. No previous weaving experience is needed, just come along and enjoy getting creative!
