Ponds are fantastic habitats for all sorts of wildlife. Whether the water is a full-time home, an early-years cradle, a hunting ground, or a welcome oasis in the wider landscape, these small-scale water sources are a vital part of urban environments.

Join Dr Linda Birkin at the memorial garden’s wildlife area to learn more about the lives of iconic pond creatures like dragonflies and diving beetles; how a healthy pond supports the wildlife around it; and how you can use mini water habitats to add a bit of pond to any size of garden!
