Regular volunteer sessions on the Nursery looking after the space for the Growing to Grow and Community Harvest projects.

*** New volunteers ... before booking this event please click here to book a taster session. We offer tasters for this session once a month (usually the 3rd Tuesday) where staff can support new volunteers with training on health and safety and completing induction paper work. ***

These sessions are for volunteers who are signed up, please see above for how to sign up as a regular volunteer.

Volunteer activities:

Digging, sowing, pruning, clearing, building, watering, harvesting! Volunteers on the Nursery sessions are never short of a mixed variety of tasks! There is something for all levels and abilities, and a welcoming, social atmosphere.

Meet at Ransom Road entrance by 10am.

We will then gather at the Staa Volunteer Hub on the Nursery each week - unless otherwise arranged - and then travel together to the project of the day.

Session details

Session time 10 am (meet at Ransom rd gate) - 2pm.

Activities include practical gardening and maintenance outdoors.

We provide hot drinks and drinking water, but please bring lunch/snacks and water.
