A hands-on event empowering women in retrofit and building confidence through practical plumbing. Learn essential tools, techniques & fixes.

Come along to our women’s-only plumbing workshop, where you can learn key skills in a supportive and welcoming setting.

When: Friday 30th October, 10am-1pm

Where: NEP Climate Hub, 32 Turney Street, NG2 2LG

We’re seeing more women getting involved in retrofitting and taking on home improvement projects, so we’re creating a space for women to build their confidence, share experiences and learn practical skills together.

Whether you want to brush up on your skills, master the fundamentals or learn how to avoid costly mistakes, this workshop will give you the practical experience and confidence you need to tackle your projects independently.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn about essential tools, common plumbing problems and how to fix them. You’ll also get practical tips and tricks that can save you time, money and stress.

Please note: Although this is a workshop for only women attendees, the session will be delivered by members of our male contracting team, Darren and Ashley, who will share their practical knowledge and experience in a friendly and approachable way. They’ll be there to support your learning, answer questions and help you learn practical skills covered during the session.

This event is part of the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) Festival of Retrofit (https://www.eastmidlands-cca.gov.uk/what-we-do/net-zero/domestic-retrofit/festival-of-retrofit/) and in collaboration with EH-UP Energy Efficient Homes - Upgrade Programme.
