There's something special about women coming together. Sharing stories, discovering new things, finding common ground, having a laugh and simply enjoying being in each other's company.

Rise & Shine is an invitation to do just that.

Join us for a warm, uplifting afternoon where creativity and community come together. A space to slow down, express yourself, try something new and enjoy the energy that comes from being surrounded by other women.

Whether you're looking for a little time for yourself, hoping to meet new people or simply fancy an afternoon doing something different, we'd love you to join us.

What to expect...

Mindful Creative Activities

Enjoy some gentle, hands-on creativity with space to explore, experiment and express yourself. There's no right or wrong way to be creative, and absolutely no experience needed. It's about enjoying the process, not producing something perfect.

Spoken Word with Aisha Blake

Words have the power to move us, connect us and help us see the world through someone else's eyes. Join Aisha Blake for spoken word that invites us to listen, reflect and celebrate the richness of our shared and individual experiences.

Reggae Singalong

We'll bring the afternoon together with the uplifting sounds of reggae. Familiar rhythms, feel-good music and the joy of singing together. Whether you know every word or just want to sway along, this is about enjoying the moment and sharing a little musical happiness.

Come as you are

At When Women Gather, we believe everyone has something to bring, simply by being there.

You don't need to be an artist, a writer or a singer. You don't need to know anyone beforehand, and you certainly don't need to feel confident about joining in.

Take part in everything or just the things that appeal to you. Have a conversation, make something, listen to a story, sing along or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

There's room for all of us.

Rise & Shine is about celebrating the small but powerful things that nurture our wellbeing: creativity, laughter, music, friendship, feeling heard and knowing we belong.

Sometimes that's all we need to leave feeling a little lighter, a little more connected and a little brighter.
