Speaker Bios:
Kate Moryoussef is a Neurodivergent Coach, EFT Practitioner, and host of the award-winning ADHD Women's Wellbeing Podcast, where she interviews global experts on topics such as ADHD, neuroscience, health, and overall well-being. As a lifestyle and well-being coach, Kate supports newly diagnosed ADHD women helping them navigate this new chapter with greater calm, self-compassion, balance, and acceptance. Through a blend of coaching methods and emotional freedom techniques, she empowers clients to reconnect with their identity, career, purpose, joy, and passions – freeing themselves from limiting beliefs and outdated conditioning.
Dr Tom Nicholson is an Assistant Professor of mental health nursing and a speaker, trainer, and advocate for neurodiversity and ADHD. Tom's PhD project explores the lived experiences of parents whose children are undergoing ADHD assessment, listening to, and retelling their changing stories over a period of two years: From waiting list, to diagnosis, to living with a diagnosis. Diagnosed with ADHD in childhood, Tom uses his personal lived experience of ADHD alongside his clinical and academic background to give a multitude of perspectives to his work.
Jen Wood is a neuroaffirmative, trauma-informed coach and psychotherapist specialising in Compassionate Mind Training and nervous system-informed approaches to neurodivergent wellbeing. She draws on both clinical training and lived experience - including her own late ADHD diagnosis and a period of burnout, compounded by perimenopause, that took her out of work for months - to help people stop fighting themselves and build lives that work with their brains, not against them.
Dr Felicity Sedgewick is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology of Education at the University of Bristol. She has worked with autistic and neurodivergent people for over a decade, particularly with autistic women and girls. Her research has focused on gender differences in autism, relationships, and mental health, as well as experiences in higher education. Her work is strongly participatory in design and aims to always reflect community priorities. She is the lead author of the book Autism and Masking: How and why people do it, and the impact it can have.
