Forging inclusive cultures in training and supervision This online half-day event will bring together trainers, supervisors, trainees and practitioners to explore how more inclusive, equitable and psychologically safe cultures can be fostered across psychotherapy training and supervision. The event aims to share emerging thinking, practical learning and lived experiences that can support meaningful change across organisations, training environments and supervisory relationships. Through a series of discussions and presentations, attendees will consider topics including: building inclusive and anti-oppressive cultures within training and supervision settings addressing barriers to participation, progression and belonging across the profession exploring power, identity and intersectionality within supervisory and educational relationships creating learning environments that better support diverse experiences and needs enhancing confidence and competence when working with a broad range of client communities understanding how accessibility, reasonable adjustments and different modes of training can contribute to greater inclusion reflecting on lived experiences of training and supervision and the lessons they offer for future practice sharing examples of innovative approaches and emerging best practice from across the psychotherapy community. The event will provide opportunities for learning, reflection and dialogue, equipping participants with practical insights and ideas to help create more inclusive training and supervision practices within their own settings.
