Attila the Stockbroker is the stage name of John Baine (born October 21, 1957), an English punk poet, musician, songwriter, and social commentator from Southwick, West Sussex. Famous for his high-energy performances and DIY ethos, he has toured globally for over four decades.

Has performed thousands of concerts globally, released over 40 recordings, and published multiple poetry books alongside his autobiography, Arguments Yard.

Championed by legendary BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel, recording two sessions for him in the early 1980s.
