Tyndale Community School

Tyndale Community School is a Christian Ethos primary school in East Oxford and was started in September 2013 and opened a nursery this September. It is part of Oxford Diocesian Schools Trust (ODST). Community is at the heart of the school with its motto of “Aim high and Reach Out Together”. With its diverse population the school welcomes and celebrates children from all ethnicities and religions. Over 50 languages are spoken by the children and their families. Tyndale has six core values which we support children to develop in their time at the school: respect, responsibility, resilience, excellence, joy, creativity. Each of these have a superhero - Tyndale Titan - who shows the children what these values look like. Tyndale has collaborated on projects with the Migration and Refugees Network at Oxford Brookes over the past 3 years to help pupils explore questions of migration and identity.
