With Amanda Smith, a workshop for beginners to learn 3-5 basic stitches, at the Hobbycraft in Oxford on 28 November at 11:00am.

Suitable for those who have never picked up a needle but want to have a go or those who have just started to stitch. A workshop for beginners to learn 3-5 basic stitches whilst embroidering a simple stylish pattern.

A choice of four patterns will be provided. The workshop will provide confidence to continue to explore after the workshop has ended.

To note:

This event is for those aged 16 and over.

Cancellation and refunds given up to 7 days before the event takes place. No refunds will be given for cancellations under 7 days.

Capacity for this workshop is 7 people.

Required Materials

You will be able to take away fabric, threads and a needle to carry on stitching at home.

Equipment used in the workshop such as hoops, maker pens and scissors will be available to purchase afterwards in store.

You may find it useful to bring a pen and paper to make notes.

Your Tutor

Amanda Smith is a trustee and long-time member of the Embroiderers’ Guild. Amanda sews A LOT and she loves sharing her passion for stitching. She has an extensive knowledge of stitches and how they can be used in new and exciting ways.
